Fallcliff

Fallcliff, also know as the Citadel of Knowledge, is one of the oldest still-in used structure in the Central realm. The castle is used as the headquarter of the Order of Master of Knowledge. This does not mean, however, that the original structure and its original purpose have not been alternated throughout the ages.

Purpose / Function

For the past two ages, Fallcliff served as the headquarter, a university of learning, and the main library of the Order of Masters. When one wants to become a Master of Knowledge, he must travel to Fallcliff to study the subjects of his choice and there he must pass the test to become a Master. However, the castle was not built for the Order of Masters. The castle was originally a keep named The Star Tower owned by a noble family called House Falls. The keep was named The Star Tower because the tower was built as an observatory to study the stars and sky. A young lord of House Falls began the Order of the Masters, he renamed Star Tower into Fallcliff and made it the headquarter of the order.

Valuables

The treasure in Fallcliff was not gold nor silver, but the books of knowledge over all subjects. Some books dated back to ancient times and lost secrets were recorded on these books.

Alterations

Before the keep became the headquarter of the order, the keep, excluding the observatory, was made for a maximum of 100 people who could live comfortably in the castle, and there wasn't many books. When the order began, the lord built a library as grand as the on of the Halls of Memories. He also built more rooms inside the castles so it could fit more people.

Architecture

The architecture have an ancient origin as it was built long ago. It was designed by Lillian the Grey Architect. She was able to incorporate dwarvaen techniques of building into human castles which made the structure stood longer.

History

The date when this keep was constructed is unknown, however, the castle was built by Lillian the Grey Architect. The castle was named Star Tower, as the high tower of the keep was the best observatory throughout the land. The keep was built fairly far away from any city or town because the Lord and Lady who commanded the construction of castle wished to live an isolated life. Somehow, the ownership of the castle was transferred to House Falls. As time went on, the ownership of the keep came to a lord Falls called the Lord Falls of Masters. The lord realized that each lord or lady did not have advisers that were educated, so he created the Order of Masters. When one master complete his study, he is assigned to a castle/lord to advise the lord. Lord Falls made alterations Star Tower and made it into the headquarters of the Order. Star Tower was renamed Fallcliff because of the castle was built on a waterfall. Humans, elves, dwarves, and mer-people from all over the land and sea came to Fallcliff to study as Masters of Knowledge.
