Cyrstalia

Cystalia is a grand city of dwarves that is located in the east of the Western Realm. It is a mountain surrounded in a perfect circles by the Dark Forest, also known as the Black Woods. The mountain separates the north-west half of the forest and the south-east half. On the top of the mountain is a crystal set as a decoration. Many people considers this city the greatest and grandest colonies the dwarves ever built on the Continent of the Realms. This dwarven colony is known for its main resource: gemstones, crystals, and silver. The whole mountain is full of precious stones which is the main export for the city. So there is no doubt that the colony is one of the richest in the continent. Since there are plenty of gems and crystals in the mountain, the dwarves who inhibits the city learned to craft and fashion jewels onto necklaces, bracelets, crowns, and so on. The city is basically a mine which a city is built upon.

Government

Crystal is ruled and governed by a council that includes the dwarves with most power in the colony. At the very top is the lord of the city, who is from the bloodline of the founder of the colony. The council's role is to advise the lord of the city.

Industry & Trade

The only trades the dwarves of the mountain can offer are the gams and crystals they mines, and the jewels they crafted and fashioned. Although this may not seem much, all of these items are worth high prices.

Infrastructure

So far, there are ten levels in the mountain and ground floor is the forth counting from the top floor. Since Crystalia is a city within a mountain, there are many pathways, corridors, staircases, and bridges. There are many forges with in the city as forging is important to dwarves.

Architecture

Crystalia is designed with dwarven architecture. Similar to human architecture, the designs show symmetry. The only difference is most of the dwarven buildings are built with materials of darker tone, while humans build with lighter tones, i.e. marble. Since Crystalia is a city within a mountain, the main architecture is inside.

Crystalia was founded in the era before the Age of the Wild Governors.
