In contrast with our bethren in the Empire and the Theocracy, we tolerate Demihumans, they are sentient, poses intellect and magic, and we consider them the same as us, Annaios created us humans alone, but demihumans were created by other gods, which in the end, puts them in the same category as us.

Structure

Chancellor

Leader of the Republic, elected by the Council of Ilisias, the chancellors will be voted to continue being the chancellor, or to be dismissed by the Council of Ilisias every two years. In the event of the chancellor being dismissed, the senators would run an election within the Council to elect a new chancellor.

Senator

Member of the Council of Ilisias, these senators are elected by the population and represent the different cities and towns of the Republic.

Governors

Governors are elected in each city and town to manage it and represent each population, while the Council makes laws and the most important decisions, the governors and the local senates of each city and town make the local laws and decisions.

Public Agenda

They want to live in peace and harmony with the ennathians, break the barrier that separates the two races in order to make a better, peaceful and harmonious world.

History

The Republic, as well as the Three Kingdoms and the City states, are relatively necent. It goes back to the civil unrest both in the Empire mainland and the colonies, while some of the people rebelling wanted to keep the ennathians as slaves and work labor. The Republic on the other hand wanted to live together with the ennathians one with the other with the same rigths, with no diference in treatment. Slowly the unrest builded up, and in 372 a few years after the Kingdom of Enthol, and one year after the Kingdom of Ruarin, the Republic declared independance from the Empire.
The Republic had a rocky start, as people discussed the form of goverment and dealed with ennathians. After the Purification campaigns the ennathians hatred for the humans was unmesurable, yet Ilisians manage through time and negatiations, as well as their separation of the Empire, to persuade the ennathians into diplomatic relations. As Gel III conceded and allowed the independance of the rebellious movements, the Republic had decided to go on a democratic election to allow the people to elect their leaders. And as a gesture of good will, apart from allowing ennathian tribes in to live with them they allowed them to hold sets of goverment both in the Council and the local senates, being proportional to the population.
