Karadian Bestiary - Artificials

Conserved Warmachines

Automatons that survived in operational state until today due to nature of magical anomalies. They are not encountered outside of them. They are also basically endless in numbers - their anomalies will spit them out endlessly, unlike the Produced category, that can theoretically taken down by shouting down the source of them.
Xylian Dominion
Xylian Dominion warmachines are mostly surprisingly basic automatas. They are big, make a lot of loud noises, aren't too bright (in fact can often be dealt with by using an environment against them)... but also have heavy firepower and are tough.   Xylian Automata - A roughly humanoid automata with sharply edged hands. Move in pretty badly coordinated manner and, frankly, can't do much damage. On other hand, they are always encountered in groups and with more damage-dealing oriented ranged and artillery automata, and are quite tough (nothing surprising considering the fact that they are machines). Encountered in masses in xylian installations that were swallowed by magical anomalies.   Xylian Ranged Automata - Xylian standard range fighting automata. Looks like mechanical spider, one and a half meter high. With automatic crossbow and an ammo feeder that loads ammunition from ammunition chamber in the back of the spider's body. Can fire in a semi-automatic mode or fire much more accurate powerful shot. Its crossbow part is exposed, with even weakest hit capable of benting it and rendering the automata harmless. Despite this, they tent to be a major pain in the ass if protected by melee-oriented automatas.   Xylian Artillery Automata - Xylian standard range fighting automata. Can be described as a magic-based short barreled cannon in a rotating turret placed upon spider-legged suspension. It is notoriously unstable - no idea why Xyls decided to use it - and requires to properly anchor itself prior to firing. It launches rather slow, but exploding shells, that can also carry antegnite dust that deals terrifying wounds to daemons and makes using magic much harder. In short - a rather problematic foe.   Xylian Heavy Artillery Automata( - Rarely encountered automatic self propelled gun on a track suspension with additional deployable stabilizers. Have much larger rotating turrets and very short (but wide) barrel. Requires long deploying, but can fire on quite long range (up to three kilometres) with surprising precision. Still requires other automata to serve as observers. Can be terrifying threat to unprepared targets.
