Hallowed Elves

Hallowed Elves are one of few much more magical species of elves created by Xylian Dominion as a part of their late genmaturgical projects. The general idea was to create species capable of using Old Magic efficiently, which in turn made them capable of drawing power from their own body, not to mention having 'attunements' to certain types of magic.
Hallowed Elves were created in a genmaturgic labs somewhere on Alvaenan Isles. After Mechanics exterminated Xylian Dominion during Black Iron War, the specimens were freed and soon spread throughout the Isles.
They've grew to be venerated as a sort of mostly religion-oriented caste of Alvaenan society. They are a species of magicians and priests (groups mostly overlapping in local society), with almost all of them being a part of royalty and aristocracy (though they are outcasts from time to time.
They are naturally proficient in general elemental magic.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Two hands, two legs, one head. They are rather beautiful (all of them, since they were created to be similar in prettiness to Domestic Elves) and slender (there are next to no obese or overweight hallowed elves). They are also almost universally tall, while their females are rather feminine and males... somewhat in the middle between males and females in looks.

Biological Traits

As all elves, they are very dependant on level of their blood purity. Mixing with other elven subspecies makes their offsprings genetically inferior, slowly degenerating into low elves, making special traits of their subspecie much weaker with every generation, and lowering their lifespan.

Genetics and Reproduction

Their reproduction is typical for elves. Can have children only with other elves, ogres, and very magical beings for example shapeshifters and high dragons. Pregnancy ranges from 9 to 10 months, depending on level of blood purity.

Additional Information

Facial characteristics

Lack of facial hair with exception of eyebrows. Their skin tends to feel and look rather soft and delicate. Skin light, hair in most cases golden.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Normal set of senses, but with additional magical sixth sense that allows them to detect nearby magic.

Civilization and Culture

Common Taboos

As among most of the elves, they have a taboo about relationships with members of other subspecies. While this does happen, it is generally shunned among most of elven societies, making elves that attempted it in most cases move to other provinces of Imperium.
