Fire Elves

After creating most of elves dedicate to war, work, entertainment and so on, Xylian Dominion attempted another secret project, for some reason launched in utmost secrecy, with its exact date unknown. It is believed that they created special subspecies through both geneengineering and crossbreeding them with daemons. Thus creating subspecies in which both biology and magic were combined to create something unique.
Fire elves were one of the effects of this project. They were created with fire magic in mind and were settled mostly on the deserts of Northern Arzia and Hezrian Peninsula. They used to make for most of higher, especially religious ones, castes of local societies. This mostly changed overtime, especially when most of them were taken down by humans. Now only a few exist, and even there traditional elven religions were completely subverted by either Imperial Religion or Inrithism.
Today most of them actually lives in Kasytian Empire, where they emigrated over time due to their welcoming attitude to religious dissidents from Imperium. Their 'fire' part is an additional reason, since Kasytian religion has an important place for holy flames. This makes them one of the very few elves that actually live mostly outside of imperial borders - with the only other one being the Sea Elves, that actually have only a single major ethnic group that doesn't live in Karadia.

Basic Information

Anatomy

While majority of their body is more or less typical matter (although rough and stone-like in texture - their hair are all flames. Which tends to make actuall wearing anything rather... problematic. Unless its fireproof and carefully sewn. Their flames are rather cold - only about 100C - and they can suppress it for mating purposes with those outside of their race.

Biological Traits

Natural skill for fire magic of all types, while also having an inborn reservoir of mana (which makes them able to not rely on daemons in that matter).

Genetics and Reproduction

WIth other fire elves to give birth to more fire elves. With other elves to give births to the children of the other elf subspecie with natural talent for fire magic. The former is much more frequent due to pockets of fire elves leaving today in Kasytia, separated from the rest of their species.
