Born under the vampire occupation Hrian folowed the laws and never strayed for he didn't want any problems until the day he met savras he saw a ray of hope and decided to do what he could to help his people.
he finaly snapped after seeing her sister turn , he decided to plot an escape from bryarmoor never to return.
He conviced 20 of the Horzov Traders that worked under him to break into the UNCG warhouses and steal a Caravel so they can escape. assembling as many people as they could without drawing too much attention

Herian's relationship with savraas ins one of nessecity. they came to know about each other 20 years before Herian could make his escape during one of his trade expeditions to the city of kel.
Savras was one of the workers there , the fact that Herian was a sailor by trade encouraged savras to tell him about edgeford in hopes that he could help one day.
