All spells and scrolls you cast or use now originate from this symbol. Spells cast from this symbol are cast as a bonus action. You must be within 5ft of the place your are creating a symbol.   if the symbol is on an ally the ally will gain 2 temporary HP per turn, and spells deal an extra 1d6 force damage. If the symbol is on a object or non-ally your spells and scrolls deal an extra 1d8 force damage.   You can have up to 2 symbols active, but can only cast from a symbol if it is in line of sight of your person. And only one symbol can be cast from per turn.   You must maintain line of sight with a symbol or it fades after 1 turn.

10th level

The symbiote consumes

- You gain 5 more charges of Yokai Ink.

Words Cannot Lie

- Expend 20 silver of Equisite ink, to place a mark on anyone. This Mark last 1hr and Functions as Zone of Truth.

Leap from the page

- You can now have up to 2 active symbols on allies or objects and 1 active symbol on a enemy. As a bonus action you can command one symbol to leap from its current location to a enemy up to 60 ft away.

Words that Bind

- Upon the symbol landing on a enemy after Leap from the page. The symbol triggers Words that Bind. The enemy must make a grapple Charisma saving throw of 10 + your Spell DC. If successful they are not grappled and the symbol will disappear after the end of their next turn. If the enemy fails the saving throw they are grappled and all spells/scrolls cast from this symbol deal their damage + half their damage. At the start of the enemies next turn they can try to break the grapple for the same saving throw. This symbol still requires line of sight.

Invocations specific to IItan

You can only use these Invocations, but because the yokai is a symbiote you can select which one to ready once per long rest by opening your Yokai and rewritting your pact. You gain 1 vial of bottomless vial of ink. This vial can hold a unlimited amount of exquisite ink but still maintains its weight.

Knowledge Retained

Up to 3 times per long rest you can upgrade scrolls to the next level by expending 60 silvers worth of equisite ink per scroll. These scrolls work for anyone in your party. You can consume 20 silver worth of ink and 1 scroll to ready a spell on any object, person, or item. You can only have 2 readied scrolls active at one time, and they must be triggered by a command you set for the holder/object/person. Example if you place a death ward scroll on a barbarian it will only activate if the barbarian says the command you set. These scrolls cannot be replicated, echoed or saved by any methods used. They are destroyed when readied.

Knowledge is Reality

- The LLtan grants you forbidden knowledge of the world. You now have Arcane lock & Knock that does not consume spell slots, or items. However it does consume 20 silver of exquisite ink and leaves a visable mark on the locked/unlocked item or object for 24 hours.   You can make the lock stronger by expending more ink. the DC to break the lock is raised by 1 for every 20 silver worth of ink expended.   As a bonus action you can expend 40 silver worth of equisite ink to write Arcane lock in thin air. This creates a 10ft magical barrier that glows with a faint purple hue. Enemies can walk through the barrier but must past a Constitution save throw of 10 + your spell casting modifier. You can increase the size of this barrier 5ft and DC by 1 for 20 silver per upgrade. (Max Total spell cost 1040 silver of ink for a total of 60ft wide and + DC of 15 + spell casting modifier.) If a enemy fails the saving throw they are thrown backwards 10ft and take 1d12 force damage, if they roll below 10 on their saving throw they are knocked prone.

Knowledge is Power

- As a free action once per turn you can expend 10 silver of Exquisite Ink then use a action to choose a scroll that is on your person. The scroll is cast with a +2 to hit, and is not consumed. The scroll may be reused after 1 turn. This can be used on any scroll that you have as long as its not a unique scroll. Exquisite Ink - This ink would humble even the most profound writers. A truely gifted individual could do much more with it, and truly bend it to their will. Documents written with exquisite ink give a +3 to any roll that is used to write them. Cost: 20 silver per vial
