Cataclysm Period circa. 15 Jul 0373 RE: The emergence of a Ley Moon for the first time in 7000 years since the end of the Age of Gods drastically alters social-geo-political norms around the entire globe.   Ley Moon: a supernatural phenomenon where the moon suddenly comes too close to the planet, affecting the leys lines. Here the moon draws up Ley Particles and essentially saps LeyLines dry: depriving the world of magic by 95%.   Cataclysm phenomenon: due to the draining of LeyLines, emergence of a creature [monster] called "Hubris" occurred soon after.   Hubris are extremely hostile monsters who feed on any living creature (mainly mammals) and range from 3 meters in size to 50+ meters in size. They have variations in structure and biology making it difficult to surmise a uniform way to combat them. See Notes on the Cataclysm for extended info.
