An assassination carried out by the Ring of Enlightenment that began the Second Nationalist Civil War.

Emperor Denatus Galen was on his way to Venus on a diplomatic mission to have better diplomatic relations with the planet. One of the crew was an operative sent by the Ring of Enlightenment to sabotage the ship he was on. The ship was then destroyed.
