Mars

The fourth planet in the Sol System. The planet was first colonized by humans in 2169 with the colonial vessel the INS Grandeur. A small group of fifteen colonists started the foundations on the site of Valles Marineris in the Tharsis region. In 2198 a new colony was founded in the northern region of the planet known as Boreum. The massive crater of Hellas Planitia followed in 2242 with many early Venusian settlers immigrating due to poor conditions on their colony.
