Officient

The lowest rank in the west Calophesian religious hierarchy. Below an acolyte as an officiant has not been officially sworn into the priesthood they serve. Officiants of shrines in smaller temples or those in smaller communities may only serve in the role part-time without residing perminently in the temple.
The specific title given to a person of this rank can also depend on the denomination they belong to, although they are all commonly referred to as 'officiant'.
