Deity
Deities were the first beings born into the universe. The first ten created Earth, Gaia, and life on both planets. Even though they are beings of immense power, deities still have and show mortal traits.
When a deity is born, they don't know who or what they are. They usually realize their abilities later in their life. For the first ten, they had all the time in the world. They pondered their existence until their powers came to them.
All deities are equal in power and are born with a special ability. That and when all the deities combine their powers, they're able to do anything. Because of this, deities vote on what to do instead of fighting. For instance, they voted on to create life. Ironically, it was unanimous. The deities have a knack for creating. Above anything else, they treasure their creations.
It's possible for deities to expand their abilities. But, this usually takes long periods of time. The first ten deities were the elements. They experimented and paved a way for the future. Along the way, they've achieved so much and made many mistakes. But, they strive to fix what they have done wrong, well most of them.
Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction
Deities can't reproduce. They're only born when they're needed. It's possible to create a deity, but this can result in the deity becoming stronger and uncontrollable than deities that are born. It's also possible for a deity to make a clone of a mortal by taking a part of their essence and mixing it with theirs. This results in a clone that's half mortal and half deity.
Ecology and Habitats
Deities live in their own pocket dimension. Each one is designed by the deity that lives there.
