Grand Emporer of Acrylia

Qualifications

Must have passed all of the Tannist’s Trials.

Requirements

Must be a citizen of the Acrylian Empire, and have won the Tannist’s Trials and Elections.

Appointment

Candidates are first selected through the Tannist’s Trials: a series of tests and challenges designed to see if the person is fit to become ruler. If they pass then they are made a Tannist and must undergo lengthy training to become qualified for the position of Emporer. Once the old Emporer dies or is removed, the Kings’ Court votes on Tannists to elect a new Emporer.

Benefits

Has special control over the Imperial Treasury and Military.

Accoutrements & Equipment

The Imperial Crown Jewels are worn on special ceremonious occasions.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If their actions are deemed Tyrannical. This is worked out first by the Kings’ Court declaring an action Tyrannical and then by a vote by the assemblies of the Acrylian Empire deciding if it is Tyrannical or not. Tyrannical actions may include attempts to seize further power, or actions deemed to harm the state or the people. Attempting to prevent removal due to tyranny is itself deemed tyrannical as well.
