High Office Appointments (British Pact)

A technical term used by member countries and colonies of the British Pact to describe positions of power in a government or military that have particular political influence.

Appointment

During the time of British Pact all positions that were considered to be a H.O.A. would be subject to review by a Regional BP Council before they can take the position. After the dissolution of the British Pact, some colonies particularly British Europa still used the term however these do not follow the same rules.

Duties

An individual that is considered to have an H.O.A., is subject to review by a Regional BP Council and on request must create for them a report of their activities.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Regional BP Councils as well as the The Council of Administration (British Pact) have the authority to remove any individual from a H.O.A.. H.O.A.s are also subject to any other parent authority and can be remove that way. In British Europa, H.O.As can be removed by the High Court of Europa Colony, or the Supreme Court of New Britain .
