Binding Chain

Disguised as a necklace, the Binding Chain is used to suppress the terrifying powers of Adira Darte. This further proves when she attempts to use her Elemi, she suffers from extreme repercussions to her body and mind. This is due to her forcing herself through the binding which bounces the power back to her and self-harm from within.

Prisoner Out of Love

Adira was given the necklace immediately after she was born by Mia Rosenthall. As Adira grew up, she didn't display any sort of elemental abilities which only prompts her birth mother, Alyssa Darte to neglect her completely for being a "defect". Unbeknownst, her daughter actually possesses a terrifying power.
Mia, aware of the possibility that Adira will fight back, continuously strengthened the binding on the necklace while reminding the girl that the necklace is a gift from Alyssa. This caused Adira to become weak and extremely frail, losing appetites and gained depression from the effects of the binding. The girl constantly whines about the pain but Mia insisted that she did "out of love".
Even as Adira no longer seen Mia and her mother, the thought has been drilled into her mind and having the necklace separated from her causes distress. She keeps the necklace close to her person and never seen to take it off even though she could. She feared that if she parted with the necklace, traces of Mia's "love" will gone for good and she had to live with the fact she is, in fact, a "defect".
