The Tavern on the Edge of Reality
The Tavern on the Edge of Reality is an extradimensional establishment accessible through portals in dark corners of alleyways and dingy bars that will only open for those with:
a): some form of illicit intent, likely judged by the owner Khavarn, and
b): know of its existence, and
c): intend to enter, but most importantly
d): don't intend to do harm to any of its denizens.
Purpose / Function
Provide a refuge and resting place for those who engage in illicit activities, especially mercenary work. The barkeep, a tentacled eldritch abomination called Khavarn'thachalt (Khavarn to his friends) runs the bar and serves food and drinks of dubious quality.
Architecture
Largely composed of dark wood and stone, with low ceilings and an apparently unending supply of gas for its lighting. A side section exists where the actual 'seats' of the Paranormal Freelance Mercenaries Guild Council reside, as well as an upstairs with humble accommodations for those needing a home away from home.
