Foundationverse

The SCP Universe is based on the content of the SCP Foundation Wiki, which is under the Creative Commons License.   The SCiPverse is a unique one, in which many unique paranormal and anomalous objects, locations, phenomena and entities exist. These range from the harmless to the potentially universe-ending. However, the general public is unaware of the existence of these anomalies.   The reason for this is largely due to the several groups inhabiting the world. These include scientific and enforcer organizations, endorsed in official capacities, such as the Global Occult Coalition, the FBI Unusual Incidents Unit, and the Foundation itself. There are also companies, like Marshall, Carter and Dark, Doctor Wondertainment, and the Factory. Even entire religions, like Fifthism, Sarkicism, and the Church of the Broken God.   The reasons for the world being the way it in aren't always entirely clear. Perhaps gods are behind it, humans accidentally caused it, or this is how the universe is naturally and the veil of secrecy is an arbitrary power grab by the most powerful organizations. Regardless, the stage is set for an infinite amount of stories and interpretations.   Even the world behind the Foundationverse’s ever-present Veil has a dark underbelly. An underworld behind the underworld where drugs, death, and deals with the devil are trafficked with equal enthusiasm. Where prostitutes and pyromancers alike can peddle their talents. This is the Freelanceverse.
