Sildar Hallwinter

Sildar Hallwinter was once a knight of Neverwinter. He retired years ago after being captured by a wizard named Nezznar while on a bodyguard mission for his friend Gundren Rockseeker. During his captivity he lost his right hand and after being rescued by a group of adventurers has settled down in Phandalin. He was elected Vice Mayor to Harbin Wester where he served dutifully to better the town. During his time as Vice Mayor a dragon, known as Cryovain, attacked leaving Sildar to seek the help of a new group of adventurers. Having been suspicious of Harbin's ties to organized crime, he asked the adventurers to provide him any information they uncovered about Harbin. After Harbin's removal from office, Sildar was appointed interim mayor of Phandalin until a democratic election could be held.
