History

Nearly joining Cormyr in the early 1450's DR. The town of Illipur never quite fully accepted the rule of Cormyr, with many nobles finding it a savage town. With a heavy draconic influence. This was one of the main cities where the Angel Moreal and her cult fled. The ruins of a destroyed statue to the angel still remain to this day. It became part of the empire under Djedfre in the early 1510's.

Tourism

The Sanctuary

A converted temple of Lathander, this now serves as the home of Baroness Lilliana and Mask of the Sheath. There is a dungeon underneath where people are commonly tortured. Residents can hear screams from underneath from those being tortured. However, saying anything about it is bound to get you arrested and thrown down there so they stay silent.

The Jolly Kracken

The local bar and tavern run by the Mask of the Sheath. It is the tavern and bar for the common folk. It has an underground section designated for only members of the Mask of the Sheath. 

The Market

There are no set shops in Illipur due to constant moving populace. Any goods can be bought at the bidaily market stalls set up.
