Thrum the White Hammer

Guildmaster (a.k.a. Old Thurm, Thurm the Braggart)

The Guildmaster and founder of the The White Hammers Mercinary Guilds guild and wielder of the White Hammer.     Having founded the guild over 50 years ago with his companions he is the last original remaining member. As of this writing all of the other founding members have died except for Ilthuryn Keatris who long ago left to pursue other interests. With each companions departure Thurm proceeded to fill the vacancy with ease to make his adventuring career less lonely. As a larger than life personality Thurn could easily attract replacements, and that he did. Until one day were simply too many qualified people for financially successful adventuring bands. Thurm could not stand the thought of letting his comrades go and the now too large group struggled financially until an evening drinking with a high ranking member of the The Five Caravans Merchants guild. The merchant suggested the formation of multiple adventurer groups under the umbrella of a mercenary guild. Thurm jumped at the idea, making 2 separate groups who each adventured and helped support each other. For years this continued, with steady unintentional growth because of Thurms charisma, then came the White Hammer.   It was during an expedition into a frozen tomb of a Frost Giant that Thurm came across the White Hammer. For a few years he did not know what it was, assuming it was a flashy weapon to wield and nothing more. However, it drew the interest of one of his companions who identified it as having magical origins. After a years worth of research he found that it was indeed no ordinary magical item but a greatly renowned item.     With the items discovery and Thurms newfound fame the requests to adventure with him grew. And to accommodate that he formed more adventuring groups. But these groups needed oversight, and in turn Thurm slowly had to stop adventuring. Within 10 years if the items identification Thurm had the largest mercenary group. A small army of several hundred of the best adventurers.
