Human

The first two humans were carved from two trees on a beach by Odin himself, and given senses and movement by his brothers Vili and Ve. All humans are descendants of the first man Ask and the first woman Embla. Mankind lives on Midgard for their natural lives, then die and go to either Helheim, Valhalla or Folkvangr depending on the details of their lives and deaths.

Language

Humans speak many languages but most vikings will understand Old Norse and recognize Gallic or Old English easily enough.

Appearance

Humans come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, just like they do on Earth in real life.

Tips

In the afterlife, humans are greedy and selfish usually, because death means eternal rest in Helheim. It would be wise to not trust any of them until they have earned your trust.
