Gnomes

Gnomes are fey humanoids who bring good luck with them and can perform some magics. Some Gnomes abandon Gnome culture and live with the light dwarves on occasion. They are mischievous and very shy, and can sometimes be found in tiny villages in forests or under hills with dwarves.

Gnomish

The Gnome language Gnomish is a complex and mythical language where each sentence takes the form of a spell in some sense. Some are merely spells to increase the comprehension and hearing of the spoken words. Others are powerful phrases capable of enchantment, self defense or destruction. Most believe this magic is related to Galdr.

Appearance

• Skin: Any color. Very magical.
• Hair: Any colors. Braids and beads and headbands are common.
• Eyes: Big and colorful iris.
• Nose: Very long.
• Height: Each gnome is exactly 2 feet tall. It's in their magic genetics.
• Weight: 25 lbs to 50 lbs. They like to eat and be lazy sometimes.

Tip A common belief on Midgard is that if you catch a Gnome you will gain some luck. A more common belief on Folkvangr is that if you make a Gnome happy, they will give you luck willingly.
