Elephantles are some of the largest herbivores of Chaac c {planet}. During dry weather they can travel long distances in search of fresh food, which can get them near the Settler villages.

Elephantles have calm but bold temperament.Adult individuals have few things to fear because they are the largest creatures around.

Contact with Settlers

Like other local animals of Chaac c {planet} they are protected by ALBA (Alien Life and Biohazards Agency), and the Settlers have often trouble with driving them away from their plantations by legal means. They cause frequent trouble by stomping the plantations, and felling trees. They are also trying to eat the crops, which causes problems because of Complications of eating alien food.
Including the physical problems caused by the Elephantles, they have caused legal troubles with ALBA, including the case with the damn elefantle.

The elephantles are herbivores, and especially like to eat the delicate new growth of plants, which it rips off with it's long snout. They live in small family groups of 2-5 individuals. They can travel over long distances of dry terrain in search of fresh food.

The males have larger shells that they use in fights during the mating season, and a larger spike used in display. Females have a smaller spike closer to the head.
