Brick Silverwood had a pleasant childhood. Never really knowing his parents, he was raised by his aunt and work as her chef apprentice at the local tavern in his home town. Growing up in a tavern, he met and learned from a sort of exotic people that came through. Each one was bestowing a great hunger for an adventure into the young half-orc chef. So one day, at age 19, the boy snuck off with a group of adventurers to make a name for himself. And he did, as a half-orc, he became a mighty fighter and took on quests that help many people.   After four years of becoming quite the folk hero in another kingdom, Brick decided to return home. When he finally returns, and the town comes into sight, he finds it raided and abandoned. As the terror took in, Brick ran desperately to the old tavern that Brick grew up in. As he reaches the broken door of his former home, he finds it looted like the rest of the town. Going to the hidden spot that he and his Aunt used to store their savings, he finds a package. Inside was a letter from his Aunt and an odd book. The letter addressed to him said how a small army invaded the village, looting and searching for a young half-orc. His Aunt warned him to be wary of this group and not to seek revenge. Near the end of the note, his Aunt tells him that the book he holds has the secrets of his family past. She apologies for never telling him the secrets of his birth or his parents. But that now it's up to him to decide if he wants to know or not. Brick, now going against his aunts' warnings, is searching for the group that destroyed his home. Looking through the strange book of Silverwood, trying to piece together the secrets of his family.
