The Vo live in yurt-style round houses. These are easily collapsible when the community needs to move to follow the Auroch herds.
Foods & Cuisine
Vo cuisine is very meat and stew heavy. Their main diet is Auroch and Mammoth meat. These are sometimes eaten after being cooked over a fire, but more often they are turned into a hearty stew, thickened with mushrooms and topped with frost lichen.
Meals are cooked communally, around a large fire in the center of the camp. It is expected that each household takes their turn tending the central fire. This, of course, means that some night dinner is better than others.
The Vo often drink a special type of fermented yak's milk. It has a very high alcohol content, and is inadvisable to drink too quickly.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Both men and women of the Vo mark their faces with ritual paints every day. They do not go out in public without these markings, which serve a religious component.
The symbols used vary widely. Some symbols are reserved for specific genders, social roles, or marital statuses. Marks are made in blue, red, or black paint.

Common Taboos
Wasting food is socially unacceptable in among the Vo. To that end, hunting for sport is seen as a near criminal behavior.
Common Myths and Legends
The Vo worship the Orcish gods, though they never receive their favor. This is done in hopes that one day, they will relent and lift the curse on the line of Vo.

Ideals
Courtship Ideals
The pursuit of a potential match for marriage is a highly ritual facet of Vo spiritual life. All potential matches must be approved by the Matchmaker, an important position in Vo society. The matchmaker is responsible for vetting all potential pairings, and if necessary, making suggestions on appropriate matches.
Historically it was not always necessary to go through a Matchmaker, but since the Fall of Vo, there have been no examples of people declining the Matchmaker's guidance.
Just because the Matchmaker suggests a potential pairing does not mean that it is time to prepare a wedding feast. Much has to occur for a potential marriage, starting with the agreement of both parties and their families.
