Surroundings & Relationships

The Foltzhai forest occupies the center of the western half of the Smigrin Empire. It lies to the east of the Smigrin Western Front region, to the south of the Smigrin Mining District, and to the west of Old Smigra.

Features

Along the western edge of the forest run the Unfriendly Hills and the River of Gnomes. Within its western depths lies the elven capital town of Kyvasha.
The Folt River runs through the eastern part of the forest. Near the Folt's exit from the forest is the town of Imet.
The southern portion of the forest, south of the Folt River, overlaps the Honeycombed Hills.
The greater Foltzhai region also includes the towns of Lulozu and Imut just north of the forest.

Fauna & Flora

The Foltzhai is a diverse landscape, including a spectrum of plant life from maples, ivy, and aspens in the cooler western reaches to being dominated by bamboo in the warmer eastern end of the forest. The hilly regions in the west and south also include coniferous trees.
