Unchors

Some items and objects act as Unchors, usually trinkets and objects infused with humanoid emotion. The denizens of The Whimsey (Whims) do not experience emotion ranges as humanoids do. In fact, most are associated only with a particular emotion and never experience any others.
The discovery that humanoid emotions can be infused into objects which both creates Unchors and permits the Whims to expand their experiences has brought changes to The Whimsey. This has created a market for exhumed emotions, which usually requires a feymagic spell to be cast while in proximity of a humanoid experiencing a particularly intense bout of the desired emotion (see Whims).
