High Regent
Under the command of Fabiola Auguste, the Grasmerian leadership honorary rank of Captain was modified to be High Regent in c2387. Auguste's rationale was that the title of Captain had been a nod to the Keep's history as a haven for pirates, but in an effort to continue reforming the region's image, she wanted additional distance from that history. Privately, she also noted that her own successor, Tasiya Demetres, had never commanded a ship and didn't want to saddle her with an honorary that might undermine her authority in the eyes of the seafaring merchant ship captains or naval captains who frequently visit the port.
