The Heavenly Earth

Semuanya, the god of creation and survival of the LizardFolk, was an incredibly simple deity. He set his ideals upon the Lizardfolk race: "be one with the land, survive, and prosper". The majority of the tribes in Feralis took this to heart and live in harmony with the lands they call home. Their devotion was rewarded by Semuanya when he blessed them with The Heavenly Earth.      The Heavenly Earth are mud bath springs located on the island of Rothamar, just south of Brandy Bay. These mud baths stay, well, muddy, perpetually. Bathing in them is very therapeutic and refreshing for skin and scales alike. Even Aarakocra seem to enjoy these muddy baths, and perhaps due to the miraculous nature of their creation, the mud does not stick to you once you leave the pool.    Documented benefits of the pools include as follows: Blemishes and impurities in scales and skin removed after a soak. Hair becomes shinier and smooth. Any parasites on the skin are killed. Muscles are relaxed better than a good massage and small wounds can even be healed while in the Heavenly Earth. It has been cited that druids and those who are more attuned to nature actually have elevated boons from these mud baths.  The pools of heavenly earth are highly protected and regulated by the Rothamar tribes. While they will permit anyone deemed a friend to the land access to the baths, a high standing member of the tribe must be with them; and any form of littering or experimenting with the mud is a capital offense. The LizardFolk have huts and walkways made around and above the pools, but no walls or barriers surround the area. Due to its openness many wild fauna frequent these mud baths as well, for in the tribe's eyes it is a gift for all. It does seem to be a very relaxed environment, as even predators that mingle at these baths tend to be non-hostile (as long as they aren't threatened of course).
