Voltider

A giant fuzzy spider about the size of a medium or large dog that instead of poison they use the static shock they generate from their bodies and metal like webs to shock their prey. They change color with the season and have been known to infest the canopy making a large colony of arachnids. This makes it near impossible to penetrate the canopy. Most tend to feed in anything they can get in their webs. But there have been sightings of voltiders eating fruit. The votliders are extremely territorial and attack on sight.
