Zeid Smitan (a.k.a. 'Ze', 'Zay')

Zeid Smitan (25) is the personal Aide to Prince Viribus Lucian of Neverwas.
He grew up in the neighbouring Kingdom 'The Radiant Glade' with his Mother, Ayah Smitan, and Father, Kurt Smitan.
The family moved to Cease after his Father was promised work in a blacksmith outside the city. He was eight years old. The blacksmiths forge folded shortly after and the family were unable to return to The Radiant Glade. The family lives in the Outer Districts (The Gutter). His younger sister, Amira Smitan, was born in Cease a year later.
In his early teenage years, he was drawn into a gang known as 'The Gutter Rats'. He was a violent, angry and unpredicatble young man. Zeid was thrown into a life of crime, alcohol fueled fights and bringing danger to the doorstep of his home. This caused much tension within his family unit.
Zeid refused the call to fight in the Battle of Bleakharbour. His refusal to fight brought tensions with his family to a head- his final words to his father filled with anger and spite. His father left for war and never returned home.
After the death of his Father in the Battle of Bleakharbour and the subsequent Invasion of Cease, Zeid took it upon himself to support his family. He left 'The Gutter Rats' and was given work in the palace as a 'Wine Pourer'.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Zeid is very slim, but strong for his body type. He is unusually tall, standing at 6"2'.
Facial Features
He has a burn on the left side of his face, along his jaw bone. This are self inflicted, done in an attempt to cover the ink lines that symbolise his involvement with The Gutter Rats.
It is relatively new, still very red and prominent.
Special abilities
Zeid is able to wield Fire, like his father had been able to.
Like all Fire Wielders, he is noticeably warmer than normal. He is able to conjure small flames, and one fire 'sprite'.

At the end of the story, Zeid is running a forge called 'The Dancing Sprite'. Its steel is legendary and the sheer love of the craft shines in each blade made by him. He takes on three apprentices.
