Lavender Clouds

One section of Featherlight is completley shrouded in a pale purple nebula. A nebula the colour of lavender flowers that seem magical when you look at them. The gases of this nebula are incredibly dense, tinting space itself purple and often seeping into the atphosmeres of planets, meaning they're often a simmiliar lavender colour here. But the nebula effects more than just colour.
The gases there have unusual properties. They often pacify birds who breathe them in, and can even put a smaller one or one who breathed in a higher quantity to sleep. As a result, wars are incredibly rare here, the birds always calm and peaceful from constant small doses.
