Clergy of Lightblood

The Clergy of Lightblood is a church that acts as the head of most religious acts in the Western Hemisphere. The church is made of paladins and clerics, all acting as one body under Okaya, god of healing. They are corrupt, often forcing money out of the people to fund themselves.

Structure

At the top of the clergy lies the Cantric, a triad of paladins that act as the monarchs of the clergy. At the bottom are the Priests, who, despite their role in the organization, are usually very rich.

Public Agenda

Publically, they show that they wish to teach the ways of Okaya to all of Faymare. Privately, the Clergy wishes to take control of the Western hemisphere once the Alliance is gone.

Assets

The Clergy has access to many tools and even more gold. They often buy the favor of men to support them, and when that doesn't work, they buy the troops that knock down those men's doors.

History

The Clergy of Lightblood was established in alliance with the Druids during the Druidic War. After the war, the clergy attacked the Druids and gained control of a large portion of the world. When the Magnun bought away their cities, they moved to the western hemisphere and gained a part in Magnun government. When the Magnun were sent away from the west, the Clergy was never moved, and took a role in Alliance government.
