Varken

Varken is a descendant of the Pig tribe that dates back to the first days. He grew up where the tribe is based far out in the midlands of Pargus. Growing up Varken was trained to be a warrior since he was told by his mother that he is a bastard of royalty and that he would be destined for greatness.
Varken made his way up the ranks rather quickly completing trials and gaining favour with the people of Pargus and was summoned to Rifteras capital Fortura where he was knighted for his bravery in battle of the Khelos rebelion. He was given a sword that had been passed down from many knights dating back to the first days. When Varken gripped the sword with both hands he and everyone else in the church around felt the immense pressure the sword and Varken were giving off. The sword burst into flames encasing Varken ever so slightly till the flames dispersed.....Varken had acquired one of the many Totems of Fauna with the Elements of the gods fire attribute. On that day the sword was named Ondergang, Varken having being a bastard and with no second name was named after his sword and was known after as Varken Ondergang meaning the pig of doom.
Varken had gained more favour with with the people of Fortura and also with the royalty and was given a mission to escorts some pig travellers who worked in theatre and entertainment for the capital to their next destination which was in Khelos.
Little did Varken know that a royal was plotting and scheming with someone else to get rid of him. One night during the mission the travellers wanted to rest and make camp in a thick forest along the northern khelos coast. Varken could not refuse as it was getting too dark too see. As it got later the travellers went to sleep and Varken was left awake pondering over why he was given a task that any other soldier could of done. Varken was not left to his thoughts for long as a horde of cursed undead animals attack the camp capturing everyone including Varken.
