Orcs last names represent their title, and can change throughout their lives. An orc can have multiple titles, but they only use one as part of their name.
For example, a man might be a foot soldier, earning him the last name Stron, but, as a brand new father, he prefers to go by Pokren.

Orcs value skill in battle above all else, so physical fitness is prime when considering attractiveness. Scars are often also considered attractive.

All males are expected to be lethal warriors. Females are expected to be quite dangerous as well, both to protect their family and to be the primary trainer for their children.

History

Orcs were created during the second phase of creation. They were placed along the temperate area in the middle of Middiadoor. However, their combat focused societies frequently clashed with nearby kingdoms. Eventually they overun the country of the Gnomes. Afterwards they were attacked by the Dwarves and Elves, who took away the Orc's origional lands.

Common Myths and Legends

In the Orkish language the word Orc translates to war. Thus, when they say "I am an Orc," they are describing the self as a n incarnation of war. Their primary diety is also named Ork.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Because of their war focused culture orcs are mistrusted by most other races.
