History

When they were first created the gnomes were placed in the southern most part of Midador. Just to the north was the land of the Orcs. The Orcs were bloodthirsty, and invaded the gnomish territory, forcing them out. After a long and bloody war between Orcs, Elves, and Dwarves, the Orcs were defeated. They only remained int he teritory once owned by the Gnomes. The Gnomes took over the lands that had been won back by the Orcs. Some of them settled down, mingling with Elves and Dwarves that had moved in, while others joined nomadic groups.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Gnomes are very friendly and generaly have good relations with most other races, although some are cautious of orcs.
