Elves

The elves of Eru-Nevis are Stereotypical in some ways. They are tall, live long, attractive, and are generally in tune with nature. However, they are also very biased. They see themselves as the most advanced of the humanoid races and tend to look down on others.

Anatomy

Elves are tall, thin, and athletic. Most elves have facial features that other races would consider attractive. They tend to have pale skin.

Genetics and Reproduction

Elves reproduce after the same pattern as most other humanoids. They actually have some level of control over the gestation period, which can take anywhere from 6 months to 3 years. They usually stretch it out as long as possible so that childbearing doesn't interfere with daily lives.

Growth Rate & Stages

Elves have a 1/5 ratio with humans (one year in the development of a human takes 5 years for elves). And can live up to 400 years. They tend to remain healthy for the majority of their lives and rapidly degenerate during the last 10-15 years of their life.

They tend to prefer temperate forest areas.

They are slightly better than most other races at going without food, but not noticeably.

History

The elves were originally created during the second phase of creation. They were placed in a large desert where they grew and flourished, turning the desert into a temperate forest with their affinity for nature magic.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Elves are very civil when interacting w other species, but they also tend to see themselves as the Alpha race. Some groups have bad relationships with Arborians, who they consider to be a delicacy.
