Male Dwarf – Weapon Smith – Head of the Crafters Guild
He wears simple leather work clothes and often forgets his apron on when leaving his shop. His hair and beard are always kept short ever since what is now only referred to as, “the accident”.
He is unusually religious and optimistic, and believes it is important to be respectful of tradition and appreciative of true beauty. He is a devout follower of the God of the forge and believes strongly in holding everyone accountable for their actions.
He is middle-aged at 185 years, married with 3 daughters and a son, and takes his position on the High Council very seriously. He is a master smith and has made many weapons that have influenced the shaping of the times.
Tamriann Belladair
Female – Half-Kalvarian – Head of the Greyman Guild
Based on her clothing, accessories and demeanour, she is most obviously a member of the Greyman Guild.
Her youthful looks, hazel eyes and long beautiful blonde hair leave many men thinking she’s just a silly girl, but she is both attractive and smart, and her very intimidating temper has left many of those same men, very dead.
Because of her quick temper and sharp mouth, she does not have many friends, and even those who are closest to her, are always on guard. She has a love for Volquence Honey Mead, and goes to great lengths to ensure she has access to the purple syrup at all times.
Isabeau “The Heartbreaker”
Female – Human – Games Master
She always wears flamboyant clothing, and always predominantly red in colour. With her long dark hair, sea green eyes and lightly sun kissed skin, “The Heartbreaker” was always meant for her.
She is calm, even tempered and very smart, and believes that fun is one of the most important things in life, and that overall, love usually isn’t worth it.
She is an expert fighter and after spending many years working her way through the Games, was named Arena Champion before taking on the title of, Games Master.
Greeley “Whiskers” Crowder
Male – Human – Harbour Master
Greeley is old school, a true Sea Captain if ever there has been one. Never without his pipe or his dog which he affectionately calls, “Hound”. He is a great natural leader who often goes with his gut, and is usually right. Unlike his neat and clean appearance, his speech is very “flowery”.
He believes it is of utmost importance to keep ones “family” safe, and is very protective of Jezzkah, treating her as if she was his own.
He has no wife nor children apart from his Hound and his crew. He resides on his ship, The Wave Mount, a magnificent war galley.
Aalavor Daxwynn
Male – Half-Kalvarian – Magic Guild Master
He wears typical Najankorian dress, accessorised with books, scrolls and what he calls, his “Ever Faithful” sword.
His Bond is with, Oscar, a peregrine falcon, and they have been together for 15 years.
He believes that knowledge is the key to enlightenment, and is a master cartographer, producing intricately accurate and detailed maps.
Arcane Magic in Najankora, like in the rest of Faolan, is not very common. It will only manifest itself when a Bond is formed between two beings. Without a Bond, arcane magic is simply cantrips and cheap tricks.
Rawkin “The Fair” Drest
Male – Human – Master of the Merchant Guild
He is a short fat unpleasant gem merchant who wears fine clothes and exotic furs. He carries himself with the aid of a walking stick / sword, said to have been carved from the bone of a giant sea turtle.
He believes that acquiring wealth is very important, and that looking out for #1 should be life’s main purpose. He has never been married and has no legitimate children.
He is a very sneaky business man and is always willing to consider a deal, usually getting what he wants. Not many folk have walked away from a deal he was not happy with.
Ricard “Sheriff” Reece
Male – Human – Head of the City Guard
He can always be found in uniform and is always on the job. He is 3rd generation City Guard and the highest ranking officer in the land. Because the City’s lands are not vast, the City Guard also forms Najankora’s army, and is therefore also commanded by him.
As a soldier, he epitomises honour and is known as a fair and just man. His sword was forged by, Grodomly and is said to have been stained crimson from the Battle of the Crossing, thus too earning its name, Red Bane.
At 63 years old, he is happily married with 3 sons, 2 of whom also pledge their sword to the City Guard, and 1 who is a member of Jezzkah’s personal crew aboard, The Sunset Dancer.
Tusk “The Feral” Havenpike
Male – Human – Head of the Warrior’s Guild
No matter what he wears, The Feral is instantly recognisable due to, his dark skin tone, striking cool blue eyes, burn scars that cover most of the left side of his face, bald head, neatly kept ice white beard and a 5 inch Kalvarian tribal tattoo over his right eye.
He is a veteran of over 100 battles, and is arguably the most skilled warrior in the city. Before selling his sword for silver, he was a gladiator in the Arena, and left as it’s Champion.
He has called Najankora his home for 30 years, but was born and raised on Kalvari land to the East.
