Blessed Goddesses

The city of Avithorium is well known for the impressive quality of health that it's inhabitants enjoy, this is due to the Blessed Goddesses. The bathhouse is run by the unearthly beautiful Cassera sisters.

Purpose / Function

The Blessed Goddesses bathhouse is a place of respite and relaxation in many forms. It offers over a dozen warmed baths, at least six of which are privately rented. It is staffed at all hours of the day by a cadre of young men and women all carefully chosen by the bathhouse's owners for their kindness and beauty. All of which are ready to serve the needs of their customers be it helping them bathe or offer more private needs.
The Blessed Goddesses has also gained a reputation of a place of healing and many seek its refreshing waters when they fall under the weather or ill. Many believe that this is why the Cassera Sisters are so particular about their staff, believing that the Sisters and their staff are blessed by the gods. In reality, the healing properties of the bathhouse are due to the blessed wellspring beneath the bathhouse itself that furnishes the location with water.

Architecture

The Blessed Goddesses is built in the traditional style of the old empire. Rather than walls, the roof is supported by ornately carved marble columns with the only walls are those separating the private baths and rooms from the rest of the open-air establishment. Each of these walls are, likewise, decorated by friezes depicting myths from the Old Empire.

The Baths

The baths of the Blessed Goddesses are large rectangular pools filled with crystal clear water and warmed by a small basin of warmed coals on either side that fill the private rooms and the open air main pool area with fresh steam. The pools range in length from three to five yards while the private baths are only two yards long.
