Clan Ecrya is the familial origin of the term Ecrian. All Ecrians are descended from Clan Ecrya and from that clan's local friendlies.
Chaecrya is the kingdom/nation-state that was founded by Clan Ecrya's settling in a specific region and claiming the area for themselves. Most Chaecrians are Ecrian, but not all Ecrians are Chaecrian.
