Hey there Kass.
This Night was a weird one.
First of: How rude of you to lock up that lovely songstress in the cell next to our bird. I allowed her to be stationed close to the guard post so that she may sing her wonderful song to the watchmen nearby. Please be respectful to her as she’s likely as old as Megan!
Just as I was done showing her her, place though, there was another attack from you know who. I’m just so SICK AND TIRED of them barging close to our garden and fortress and causing all sorts of ruckus, again and AGAIN.They blew up someone’s car nearby and killed a few of our guardsmen – again. .-.
We disposed of them eventually though, but one of them managed to hit me. Now is where it becomes interesting though. Do you know what they used? Bow and arrow! I’m not sure if I should respect them for using some more noble weapons again or if I should call them utterly stupid for it. I know that we love fighting with our crossbow and rapier ourselves, which may not be the optimal in modern times. Inflicting pain with a stuck crossbow bolt or a festering wound by our blade is just something I simply cannot live without nowadays.
But they? There is no reason why they would suddenly give some untrained schmucks bow and arrow over a gun. Pulling a trigger is just easier for your everyday wannabe hunter. I guess they got lucky that one of them knew how to hold one and actually managed to make his arrow strike its target: ME!
Well that normally wouldn’t be a problem of course. The pain was even deliciously sweet while it lasted, but the thing I didn’t expect was that those clever bastards coated the tip of the arrow with a poison.
“So what?” You may think. KASS, THE POISON HURT! I … don’t quite know how they did it but they cooked together a poison cocktail with elements of wolfsbane and TREMERE BLOOD that affects even us vampires. By Lilith Kass, they somehow got hold of someone using Blood Sorcery or something like that for it. I don’t know how much of the stuff they got on supply and how easy it is for them to get more, but this is very VERY dangerous. What if they somehow secretly spike blood with it? While it was easy enough to get it out of my system when there was just a small enough dose, mortal things didn’t quite fare as well. I tested it on some rats, dogs and humans. As I should have suspected they all died shortly after injecting a tiny doze into them. The larger they were, the longer they lasted though. Not long mind you, but the humans didn’t just flatline as quickly as the rats. I tried some antidote on it and, as expected, it didn’t help in any way either. I … highly doubt normal medicine will work for this, Kass. So if one of our flock gets poisoned by that we either – somehow – immediately replace their entire blood supply, if that even works, or just offer them the closest comfort we can before Lilith accepts them into her final embrace. What if Victoria or Heather get hit by that? By Lilith I don’t even want to imagine that! I know you love Vic, but if it came to losing her forever or saving her, could you do it? Could I do it? I’m not sure I could do it for Leonora or Amely, if one of them got struck by it while I was nearby. So please let me know what I should do if it comes to that, WHEN I’m about! I promise you something though, Kass. If something happens to either of them, the gloves come off.
If the recent “experiments” showed me something it’s that my empathy is slowly turning to apathy. I actually quite enjoyed seeing those humans slowly die to the poison their “saviors” developed against us. Deliciously ironic, even if it was me who injected the vile concoction into them. If this goes on Kass, I don’t know how much I’ll care about the humans that are not Bahari or our close ones. When I look into some strangers' eyes on the street it’s hard to see more than cattle, honestly. If they’re unfit or unwilling to follow the Lilin path, then what are they good for? Nourishment, pleasure and experimentation? It may be that, slowly, our beast inside us is crawling her way out, but maybe – just maybe – she is also starting to make sense to me in some respects. But no matter how many of those unbelievers may suffer, I will continue to use them in order to keep the Bahari safe. No matter how “black” my heart turns. They should be happy that their silly lifes can be of value to the Dark Mother. A sacrifice I am more than willing to bring to her.
Anyways you’ll see soon for yourself what we’re dealing with, and I’m sure you’ll handle yourself out there. Time for me to head to bed though, it’s actually getting somewhat early. Good hunting out there Kass and may the Dark Mother watch over you!
P.S. Oh I fixed the computer up as well, so get some of our tech people together and see if you can find anything of value in regards to our bird's son!

Heya Kass.
Sooooo… let me get correct what happened here when you were about. Isabella showed up in our bird's prison cell, demanded to know why we didn’t rescue her and she was especially angry at the both of us? And you straight up told her to her face that you didn’t care much as she refused to follow Lilith while she was choking out almost every mortal around? By Lilith girl, I don’t know if I would have had the balls to do that. But planting more seeds in her is always appreciated. She doesn’t know what she’s missing out on and a woman of her talents would be more than welcome among us Bahari. What was her faith again? Is she a Christian? Almost sends a shiver down my spine how someone like her can follow a faith that’s very much opposed to her very existence.
I feel for her in a way though. First Ricky disappears to Mexico or whatever and then we get all these “fun” jobs to do, a few of which already almost got her. And all that after she’s barely been turned. That girl is trying to cope so hard with her work, it’s almost unbelievable.
In any case though, we shall see if your seeds will bloom in fruits ripe for harvest or if they’ll die before they even begin to sprout. I sure hope for the former one.
Speaking of recruiting new people… You remember that Nosferatu girl right? The hacker one whose sire we killed, or something along those lines, quite some time ago. I hope the seeds we planted in her have sprouted by now and I want you to see if the harvest is ready. We still can use having someone young like her on board with our Bahari network. I’m sure it will be worth our time to check up on that.
Oh and I asked Sasha for support in renovating this place. You will probably agree with me that this place needs a giant touch up. Generally more of a high class style all around, with subtle Bahari design choices/themes. Maybe we could also have a small bar downstairs where fellow Bahari may relax and kick back to a drink or just discuss things not too far from the garden proper. Probably should talk about that with Sasha as I’m not sure that we’re already “good” on bars with the Lilith, Bram Smokers and the Succubus Bar around. Well this wouldn’t wouldn’t be quite as public, but I’d love to have one for our sisters and brothers in either case. How does the “Green Corner” sound? Do me a favor and talk to Sasha about all that once you’re about again, maybe you have some ideas of your own!
Right there was also some asshole who tried to burn down our place today… but he got caught but our security and promptly was thrown into a cell. He wanted to join the Nights Cross and I would have been more than happy to let him rot down there, but Sasha, the gold hearted bitch, decided to let him go. If there’s any more trouble because of that then you know who to blame.
Well that’s about it for tonight. I’m gonna read up on some more medical theory and then head straight for the bed. Have fun tomorrow, sis!

Planting the Seed

Hey Kass!
Nice work on our little birdie! I honestly thought you’d go for the “human” pictogram, but combining “sun” and “blood” makes so much sense! Though it seems like you didn’t quite get through to her with the Oath of Lilith. Maybe I’m expecting too much for just a few nights, but I hoped she’d at least be able to recite a single line in such a short time… guess I was wrong. Buuuuut since she is our permanent guest she’ll probably see reason one day, we just have to break her spirit and will sufficiently. And she’s got plenty of both for now, that much is obvious. I just hope we manage to capture her son, because that will make our project ten times easier, at least!
Alas it seems like he and his “child Inquisition” seem to be holed up still and we’re still looking for a good approach. I really need to get around and ask Heather if she can finally get us some drones, so that we can play around with those and be useful from a distance. They’re totally silent today, aren’t they? Oh the marvels of human intuition!
Well either you or me (depending on who’s out at the time) should ask her once we got her son here and took care of him. If those stupid mortal doctors don’t know how to help him I’m sure either of us or someone we know may know a trick or two! At least that’s what I hope, because if not then… I don’t know. Lilith surely will comfort her in her hour of grief.
But let’s not talk about eventualities! Instead I have two new projects I want to share with you! Two long term ones (as you probably expected already) in fact.
Firstly: I think it’s high time that we start making contact with other Bahari gardens and cells. Our disunity is not getting us anywhere and I’d rather start an open dialogue with our siblings in faith. I guess having dealt with the Giovanni so much recently somehow put the idea of their “family gathering” or whatever it was called into my head and got me wondering… if something like that couldn’t be done for us? But instead of uniting into a clan, we unite into the Bahari as a whole (“New World Bahari”, “Novus Bahari” or whatever you want to call that), if that makes sense for you. We care not from which “kindred” clan you’re from (we’re gonna get rid of that term, by the way, as you’re either a Lakha or not) after all, only that you live your nights in devotion to the night mother. We should set our sights to maybe one day imitate Budapest. We really need something like that Garden here in the US. It would be quite the statement I think when we show that the Bahari also operate successfully here and not only in the old world. I know, I know it does sound like quite the impossible task and I’m aware that it’s almost certainly gonna fail. BUT I still want to try. Even a tiny success could be wonderful to future Bahari operations in the region!
We may not have our own Budapest here, but maybe one day if we work hard towards it. At least that’s my dream! :)
Secondly: We have been rather… slacking in regards to our job recently, which isn’t to say that we’re to blame. (at least not entirely to blame) We just have become so busy with other work that our time has been spent in better places. And I have a feeling that we’ll be even more busy over the coming weeks, months and years! (I still have set my eyes about joining the circulatory system one day, put that on top of the pile, will ya?)
But yeah I think that we should get a substitute for us in our praxis. Obviously someone else who is dedicated to the Bahari faith. Since we don’t really need the income from that anymore they could just send us any promising people who could turn out to be good Bahari if spoken the right words to. We have been bleeding our numbers the past months with barely any newcomers. So yeah basically find someone to fill our therapist role and get (hopefully) new siblings in faith that way.
Maybe we should also increase our scouting efforts in general. Find some amongst our followers who have a discerning eye for that and send them out to find fitting people within this city and outlying areas as well! Not everyone who hits rock bottom seeks therapy after all, so having a few eyes on the ground may also be something worth considering.
Aaand that’s the gist of my two ideas. What do you think? Something worth chasing or delusional dreams? Even if it’s the latter I’d rather try dying than not at all.

Kassandra, you idiot!
Good job bringing our new bird in and forgetting to check her for any devices and such! Do you know what a mess happened in our fortress, due to your oversight?! Some asshole tried to steal our prized possession just one day into her life under our loving care. That thief also killed one of our guards… Do you have ANY idea just how pissed I am? Luckily I am not the one who paid the price to obtain her, so maybe the one who did sho9uld make sure that her prize doesn’t fly out of her cage or suddenly expires. While I don’t know how a literal John Wick got past our 8 guards, broke into our prison cells, avoided detection via cameras and area surveillance I know one thing for sure: You will fix this.
And do you know what the worst part is for me? I will still have to help you with this, because people don’t care if it’s you or me out for the night. The curse of sharing a body, eh? Sometimes I wish I could STRANGLE you in your sleep and be all alone again… but being alone would also be superbly BORING. Look Kass I love you like the sister I never had, but please less fuck ups like these in the future. For both of our sakes… and for the sake of causing me less headaches. Since our bird is more yours by right I think any and all punishment should be handled by you. Well at least the physical side, because I sure as hell will try to do it in my own twisted way! Do you like skulls on walls? I’m thinking about hanging that thief’s skull with a pictogram painted in blood right in view outside her cell. I want you to also let out your own inner artist, on a different canvas though. I want you to take her left arm and put a pictogram of your own choosing there. I’ll leave the how and what entirely up to you, just make sure it gets done before I’m around next. Use a rust knife, our rapier or even a burning iron if you really want to. That would probably make her scream and curse you to hell and beyond, which sounds delightful, no?
A replacement guard will be found sooner rather than later I guess, but we seriously need to up our security even more. At least your little accident showed that we aren’t even prepared against a single insurgent armed with a revolver… which sounds damn ridiculous while I write this.
I think we might be able to turn this situation to our advantage though. What if more hunters will be drawn in by our damsel in her cage, but will meet their untimely end, because we ambush them after “letting” them partly breach our fortress? Something well worth considering if you ask me!
Anyways we’re probably soon gonna leave for Gary, so I don’t know how much can still be put into action before we head there. That’s where we’ll find our, hopefully, soon to be second guest!

Heya Soph!!!
I know that you have been out for the last few nights, sorry about that!
Anyways I wanted to let you know that I picked up where you left off, surveillancewise aaaaaand it was utterly BORING! Did you serisously watch those cameras in this muffy hotel and even slept here? While I appreciate that Victoria was there when I woke up for the evening (I do lover her fyi) I must also remind you that we have a few things to attend to on a nightly basis... I'm almost certain that you neither looked over the Garden in any capacity (judgding by my aching thirst) nor oversaw the upgrades to our Haven - Fortress at all! We have others who can do the more menial tasks at this point, Soph! Victoria and Heather are part of the Bahari for a reason, so use them BOTH and not only one at a time.
Buuut since you kind of forced me to watch over Allison I did my part and let Arlo about any new developments. Something that you should know as well is that the fucking Puteneskas (that's what the others say, no?) came killed her guards and carried her of to Lilith knows where! And I think we're in agreement that she should be in our "care" rather than whatever they have planned with her. And yes I checked in with the construction team, the cells in our Fortress have been completed (in record time I might add) and I appreciate that you've gone the extra mile to arrange some luxurious objects and what not. Good thinking, that'll impress the mortals. But yeah those cells are BEGGING to be filled by Allison and her son. I'll try my darndest to get her out of whatever situation she is in and bring her into our "loving" care! ;)
We let Josephine slip, we lost that stupid Gladius to her (I could still wrangle SOMEONES neck for that!), but maybe this is finally our chance to get some vengeance for what they did to our Garden and Victoria. How long do you think she'd last before she breaks? One week? Two weeks? Maybe even a month or tw0?! Well here's hoping she actually lasts quite a while, because I want to have a lot of fun with her... a lot of fun BREAKING HER FUCKING MIND!
Oh before I forget to mention it: It's probably in our best interest that we convert the head of our security team to ensure that their loyalty isn't solely found on a monetary basis. At least unil we can have our talk with one of the Lahmians and ask one of them to join our Garden and act as our head of security! I'd trust them way more than any mortal or non-Bahari night creature. I hope Arlo sticks true to his words in the end, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. He should come through with our money investment plans sooner rather than later though! We should also ask Sasha if she can help us decorate our place according to our newer high standarts. And that Osman fella? I feel like he thinks he's prettier than either of us, but I'm otherwise not quite sure where to place him yet. We should keep a cautious pair of eyes on him!

Oh good evening Rose! Don't mind me I'm just trying to get a hold of a list where I have all my assets listed.

Why you ask? Well... Arlo is really good with money, and I mean *REALLY* good! He told me that I should bring him all the information about what I currently own so I decided to ditch the other sucker (heh) for a few hours and get to work on this! I'm just so giddy with excitement, eeeeek!

Why do I suddenly care about money? Rose dear, I never did not care about money, I just didn't need all that much of it in the past. But things have changed over the past few months with Sophie's and mine ambition to make more of the Bahari, getting the attention of others, turning our new Haven into a Bahari fortress and, well, impressing Megan! We want to show her that we can stand on our own two (or four, depending on the view) legs! Also just imagine the gravity of having all those ressources on hand! A lot of disgusting thugs on our rear? Sign a contract with a private military firm and boom! Of course I'd probably pay Arlo to make background checks for anyone we want to deal with, but things may get so so much easier!

Well originally I met some pretty awesome guy yesterday! His name is Scott and he is a very successfull businessman. We talked for a good while in the Lilith and after a drink or two I was all ears to him after he praised me and told me that I could reach for the stars if I wanted to! The only thing that I was missing (according to him) was some capital to start making things move! And if that is between me and uniting the American Bahari then I sure as hell will do something as trivial as asking Arlo to make me money!

You didn't know? Of course I want to unite as many Bahari under me as possible! The problem is that each and everyone of us has diffrent views, rites and whatnot on our devotion to the Dark Mother. I'm pretty sure I told you that I want to "modernise" the Bahari. You're part of it already with the Bahari network after all! I know it's not far reaching at all and I only hold influence over my own garden, but theoretically we have an eternity to fix that... and I'd rather start making steps towards the big plan sooner rather than later!
Just IMAGINE Rose! Imagine a USA where Chicago could be the main Bahari domain just like Budapest is in Europe! "Chicago: Garden of Tenacity" has a nice ring to it, no?
...
Of course that is still far off and may never actually happen, but I like to dream! We may only have our community garden with a few dozen loyal followers and our "fortress" is nothing more than an apartment but I'll try my darndest to make my dreams real!! Never say that I'm not ambitious Rose, I may just take a while to cook up some ideas! Maybe we'll even get the Lahmians on board if things go well!

... At least that's how he introduced himself to us and he still looked like a normal person. (Well as normal as their ilk look) Soooo I'm not 100% if he was having a laugh at our expense. But he had some neat treasure in one of his coffins so who knows! Just ... uh make sure you tell no one he is there. We may be beyond his area of expertise, but you know what they say in some songs: "Fear the Reaper". Oh that reminds me of a song, which I'm sure you'll also enjoy. Where was I? Oh right! Yeah Death was cool and all but after that we went to our facorite old factory. Same old bottles, same old semi-abandoned bulding. Found a crate there with a few staked guys and gals. Sasha was "kind" enough to feed one of them after he was unstaked (is that the word?) and we're taking him with us to inform the higher ups about what's going on in there.
But what I personally found more interesting is that Arlo found two fetters, or whatever they are called. And you'll be happy to hear who at least one of those belongs to, probably! Lenora herself, so you might get a chance to meet her again! Also do you think it is weird for someone to name their daughter after themself? Anyways yeah that was the first fetter and the other one belongs to the guy who got rid of her. I had some choice words for him and his bottle fetter, which was pretty rude itself!

Well Kass nothing has worked out as we thought it would. Josephine is dead (not that we could have done much with her anyways because of her True Faith) and the sword is with the fae now, after one of our own Bahari stole it from us and brought it to Josephine.
Yes you read that correctly, we had a rat in our Garden and I'm just as annoyed with that as you are, trust me. But I think we have a solution for that now. Our new Entrancement powers should work wonders on our breathing friends and see if their loyalties lie with the Dark Mother and not with some other pathetic beliefs. And if we have another rat? Just surround them and give them one of our addicting kisses. Turn them into a double agent and offer them the reward of more kisses if they do our bidding. I think that the other Lakha are trustable. No need to do anything to them.
Obviously I couldn't study the sword as it was gone, so we might have to find other material for that. But I have another idea altogether as well. How about a ritual to bring us closer to Lilith? A dark communion of sorts! I can't say exactly what kind of effect that would have on us, but if we delve deep enough maybe, just maybe, we can test their true faith for what it's worth. Make us appear so demonic to them that their True Faith will be repelled by our unholy will. But, as I said, maybe we'll find another relic sooner rather than later or we could just speak to some theologians with weeks on end and get a better understanding. Maybe we can even use that collar which we still have to capture someone with lesser True Faith and see if that does something for us. Whatever you favor, I'll follow right behind you.

Well Kass I'm sorry to say that I couldn't take a look at that relic you mentioned since I was busy hiding. "Hiding from what?" you may ask. Well it seems FL had enough of us specifically and they decided to raid our apartment. Luckily Huey and Brad woke me up in time (during the middle of the day mind you) so I could hideaway in the basement while I waited for the rest of the coterie to arrive.
I was actually hoping I could get my claws in one of those FL people, but Justina and Sasha appeared first so we fled the building before they came down to my hiding place. Don't think I'm a coward Kass, but I'd rather go out in an even fight than being dogpiled by who knows how many of those bastards.
So yeah we fled and Is got someone to pick up some of our more important things from the apartment. Luckily Huey was unharmed and they didn't lay a finger on Rose. I'll still check her up though, just in case.
Soooo I guess we're kind of homeless for now. I'll ask one of the others for a place to crash down until we have something new. Maybe a place with an actual backyard or a place that would make for a good spot to put up another node for the Bahari network? Well in any case that's something we can think about during the coming nights. But for now we should still mainly concentrate of SI/FL/Josephine.
Also now that our home is gone I assume that they probably also know about our workplace? I have a feeling that we may be able to not work there anymore. So either we look for a new spot for that too or try our hands to get into the circulatory system somehow. Megan is probably rather busy with her new post so maybe we could ask her if she could put in a good word for us?
In any case I'll do what I can with what time is remaining tonight and will let you know whatever happens next.

SOPHIE YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT I GOT MY HANDS ON TONIGHT! We. Got. A. Holy. FRICKING. Gladius.
The nightly hunter raiding party was kind enough to leave this beauty behind apparently. Arlo and Justina found it on a roof amongst some belongings of some guys that were attacking the Ricky's place again. I think they tried to touch it or something, because they were fucked up! So don't you go touch that thing directly. Call Victoria and let her handle the carrying, that's what we pay her for.
Speaking of Victoria... have you seen her in our Garden recently? Whenever I was asking for her she wasn't around. We might have to do some conditioning if that keeps up or ... renegotiate the contract we have. I haven't gotten that electric collar yet and it annoys me! What if we suddenly capture Josephine and we don't have that? Poof goes half the fun we're gonna have with her!
Anyways back to the topic of our shiny new relic. Shiny and dangerous to be correct!
I more or less conviced the others that we destroy the holy properties of it in our Garden. Put it in salt and what ever else is required. I think we should maybe study it a bit before we get rid of it. Know the weapons of your enemies and all that. Just don't get too close! As I said let Victoria or any other Bahari handle it while you remain some distance away! I really don't want to wake up with a missing arm or have a hole in my chest.
I'm gonna be honest though. I don't quite know how we could study this thing. Maybe we can figure something up by staying in close proximity to it? Study it's exact material and see how the writing on it helps it gains it's holy property? Maybe you'll make some headway towards that, I don't know BUT if you find out anything let me know!
Maybe we can desecrate it in a way that we might gain something that would be useful to us? Maybe we can find a way to turn it into a Bahari relic and use it against the SI/FL?
Maybe maybe maybe maybe! So many possibilties and yet only so much time we have with the Gladius before we have to destroy it! Oh maybe have someone scribe some Ba'hara pictograms on it and dunk it in some Lakha blood. Maybe even our blood as we are somewhat favored by Lilith. In either case I'm sure you'll come up with something!
And if everything fails just destroy it and offer it as a trophy gift to someone. Maybe Megan or even the prince would appreciate it... or not. We shall see!

Our new "friends"?

Well Soph our two new friends are certainly ... interesting. I like them though! Oh and why didn't you tell them about me... about US? I would have told them all about you if I met them first, but I guess they saw firsthand what a bore you are. Great first expression as always! ;)
I don't know what you mean when you say that Justina is crazy. She seems normal to me, just a bit old as it's often the case. I'm suuuure we can get her up to speed! (Let's start with things like calling cars "cars" and not "carriages"!)
Can't say I've spoken too much with Arlo, but he seems like the usual money making businessman to me. A bit of a coward though. He really things we can wait out the SI. Worked great over that last millenium, didn't it? Let's see what he thinks if he one day ends up with a corpse or something in front of his own door.
Oh speaking about SI or FL! We might know where they are hiding now! The old factory where I got to meet Lenora's ghost mother seems to be their den. Somehow we always end up there again, don't we? Seems like they got the Nights Cross or whatever that gang was called on board, so we know what we're up against... somewhat!
Also may I ask you what you think of collars? Especially the electric kind! I think they make very good tools for teaching one's pet dog how to behave, don't you think? I might ask Victoria later to acquire one for our purposes. :P
Right before I forget to ask! Have you seen Huey recently? I talked to Chicago earlier and he seemed rather sad after telling me that he didn't see Huey in a good while. I thought he was still in the Lilith, but apparently not, so if you're out and about please look for him in our usual spots!

The Dragon, The Richman and the Law

What a night Kass and Rose...
First the funeral, then the dragon and lastly the initiation of Megan. Yes I said dragon and I'll get to that shortly.
It's been quite some time since I've last seen everyone from the garden together in one place. Obviously it was a bittersweet moment as we had to lay one of our brothers to rest but it was nice nonetheless. Seeing the Lakha and mortal Bahari in such unison almost brought a tear to my eyes. Victoria and I placed our brother in the embrace of the Dark Mother's garden and got everyone to recite our oath to Lilith. That was the point when I knew that we will be ready when we start our offensive, as our hearts and souls were more aligned than usual. (well hearts more for some than others, but that's beside the point!)
Alas there wasn't much time to linger around tonight as Megan's inauguration drew close!
I still can hardly believe that she gets to be the new Sheriff! Can you imagine what that means for us and the Bahari of Chicago as a whole? A big chance to turn things around in the future! Today we might only have our small garden, but what in about a few months or even years? Will Chicago be a new hub for the Bahari in general? I for one would love to witness that, but in the end it's obviously up to Megan. I have no inkling about how ambitious she is, but whatever way she may choose she can count on me and every single Ba'ham of the garden and you as well I hope.
The celebration itself wasn't anything too big, but that's okay. Not like Megan wanted something too big herself. She just walked up the stage after Jackson said his words waved towards the crowd and that was it. At least the music was nice! (Ami our old coterie friend was even present and sang. It was nice to see her still being well!)
It was also nice to see that Megan immediatly took her job serious. She told that crazy dragon woman to not breach anything or she'll walk in the sun just like her departed husband did. I almost burst out laughing, let me tell ya.
Oh rigfht I mentioned dragon earlier... let me explain.
So on my way from the Garden Is picked me up in her fancy limo to take me to the Succubus Club, but there was someone else besides her. A romanian woman by the name of Justina. A self proclaimed "dragon", but I have yet to see evidence of that. No scales, no wings, no horns and she wouldn't even breath fire for me! Also if you ask me she bat-shit-insane, maybe even more so than some of us! She goes on and on about her departed husband "Mikhail" or something and how she was his doll. How could she devalue herself that much? I never will understand old people like that. At least he's gone and she's her own person now, right?
Oh right she's also now part of our Coterie so I have to bear with her craziness EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Or at least every night where I'm about. Luckily you get to be around every other or so and thank Lilith for that.
Speaking of Coterie... there's another new member who got introduced to us in the Succubus Club. Arlo Dunsirn is his name and he his one of those Cappadocians or Giovanni specifically. I don't know too much about him yet, but he seems like a nice enough person? It creeped me out a little as he was quite interested in searching for Megan with me even though I didn't know him at that point. When you're around promise me to keep an eye on him as you certainly know just as well as me what those Giovanni mean to us and our (supposedly) gone Lamian sisters.
Anyways I think I've ranted on enough for tonight so take care out there sis!

You know what you should care about when you wake up? The FL. They have DARED to sully our garden. They DARED to murder one of our Ba'ham and hang him on one of the trees.
Such insolence towards us, towards the garden and towards the Dark Mother will not go unanswered. If it's your turn when we finally make our move towards them then promise me to make them suffer. Spare not a single one and find out who exactly killed our friend. They shall meet the same end as him, except that we will have our fun with him before he gets to be decoration!

Well well well Rose, it seems we finally found our prey. Hidden away in a little Dojo in the city and training the family of what's left of Redwood. Let them send more threats, I think it's funny. And that Habermann girl training them? You know EXACTLY what me and Kass intend to do to her. We're not letting such an opportunity slip again. But for now we'll let R do his work and see when we can make our move, so we'll wait and sharpen our weapons.
Oh and can you believe it? I go looking for on of my fellow Lakha in our garden and they're not there. HOW DARE THEY! They know that the first thing of the night is to attend to the High Priestess' words and needs. They deserve punishment, all of them! Though in what way I have yet to think about.
You have surely noticed that new girl, Sasha, by now, right? I still don't quite know where to put her. V? To? Maybe even M? No I think I would have noticed a certain connection to her if that were the case. Well in any case she is part of our Coterie for now and I for one am glad that someone fills the void that Xavier left.
Anyways I need to get going as I have some cameras to install here while the others are out to meet the big guy.

Not so quiet of a night...

Well it seems like we won't have a quiet night today, Rose. One can dream right? (Not like those Constantinople nut cases of course)
They sent a novice hunter out to attack Ricky's place and only manage to wound the bouncer ghoul? Bold for sure, but did they think that would scare us? Not me at least. And for some reason that hunter had a SD-card with the list from Gary stuck on him? I don't like that, especially after *cleaning* it up a little! Luckily they left the name of an old friend of ours on the SD-card. We shall probably look for her later tonight.
Speaking of SD-card... are you alright, Rose? It was reckless of me to put something from a hunter directly in you, and I apologize! I should have know better. Next time we'll find someone else to do something as risky as that. Luckily we could get to the Lilith to do it there. But who knew a blood seeking monster was hiding within those files? I didn't and I'll make sure twice from now on that it's not a trap from those assholes! I know the Dark Mother teaches us to not fear death, but my fight or flight instint triggered and I just had to run... Not my proudest moment, but I'll atone once I get back to the Garden.
Speaking of Garden... I think I saw two beautiful new candidates for our little sect tonight. Didn't see too much from them yet, but we shall see if my words will be as sweet as honey in their ears. ;)

A quiet night?

I can hardly believe it Rose, we actually had to basically not do anything big or fear for our lifes for once! Taking care of my garden, speaking to my fellow Bahari to some nice warm wine and just relaxing for once? I barely remembered how that felt like! I could do with more of those kind of nights, especially seeing how my client list for my job has shrunk over the past few weeks. I ... We might have to consider closing that down in the future if we keep on not being in Chicago. And then what? We won't be able to as easily find new 'friends' for the B. What would Megan think? She got us that job to begin with!
Oh by Lilith, I sure do hope we stay in chicago for at least a month or so. Otherwise we might have to look for greener pasture which we can operate from abroad.
Megan works somewhere around the circulatory system right? Maybe we can follow in her footsteps in that area if things go further south? Or we can use our newly acquired ... computer skills to do something?
OH SPEAKING OF WHICH!!
We did it! Our first outpost is online and is led by none other than Lilith!!! I'm so excited to see what we'll achieve with our network. It's only one node for now, but big things start small. Rome wasn't built in a day! (And Carthage wasn't destroyed in one, but suck it Brujah)
I'll probably ask Isabella next if I can also put up a node in her club. That would make two! Maybe another one in our Garden? That's three already! But let's not get ahead of ourselfes and see if Is at least agrees to that.
Also it seems we're meeting another new friend soon. Excited to see who she is and what she can do. And y'know I'm also excited about other thinks, but I won't tell you here what those are. ;p

Welcome to Chicago!!!

Welcome to your new home Chicago, Lilith and Rose! I know it's quite the step up from what you were used in that AV and Gary. (By Lilith I hate that place)
I'm certain you girls will settle in quickly and get to love it. I have a few other friends around here already, namely Brad, Chicago and Huey! You'll be great friends in time too!
Oh also Megan, my 'mother', lives here so look forward to meeting her too. I know you love travelling Rose, so I'll make sure to show you all the best locales in Chicago. I know you prefer to stay in one place Lilith, so I'll see if I can arrange a nice cozy place in either Ricky's or Is' clubs and from there I'll make sure that you'll always be able to contact Rose!
And once all that is done we four are starting the next little project I already told you about. I hope we four (Yes Kass I know you'll be reading this!) will bring a modern touch to how the B. do things. At least it's gonna be worth a try!
Speaking of modern touch ... I really need to get me some shades now that we're back in Chicago. Still need to look the part when I want to be an aspiring hacker, no?

Okay Lilith you're listening right, because I sure as hell need someone to vent to!
Can you believe that I, yes ME NACHTMAHR, am still going out there in the front, facing danger while we have a couple able bodied friends who can take punches better than me? Now that I got you and Rose I should stay back and listen to possible police chatter and warn the others in case the cops are on their way! BUT NO INSTEAD I GET HURT OUT THERE INSTEAD OF BEING USEFUL! (Not that I mind the pain too much, that was actually quite nice, but still...)
You know next time I'm just gonna say: "Oh you go on ahead, I'll keep my eyes on Rose and make sure that we're not followed.". Look, I can somewhat handle myself in a fight. Gotta thank my worse side for having a passing interest in weapons before I came to be, (Even though it's quite weird to run around with a crossbow and rapier in the 21st century, but whatever it still gets the job done, no?) but that doesn't mean I'm one of the three musketeers!
Also that stunt Isabella pulled? Hella awesome if you ask me! I didn't know she was that strong! I've still not given up on her joining our religion and maybe that's just the thing she needs! Just some food for thought though.

Gary and getting to know my new friends Lilith and Rose

While most of my time in Gary has been mostly horrible I'm happy to report two new friends I made here, back to back!
The first is the one I'm writing this on and who'll, in the future, act as my little hacking gateway to many things from afar, Lilith. While she seems a little shy when talking to she contains a wealth of stories I'm more than eager to read/hear about! I'm sure that, given enough time, we'll make a formidable duo and make the cyberworld our own! (Or we'll horribly fail and cry together in a corner)
The second new friend is Rose, a laptop that was given to me by that Camerilla hot shot here in Gary. I think I'll carry her around with me while out and about after I set up some sort of link between her and Lilith. She has been so excited since I met her! She basically hasn't stopped talking and asking me questions all night!
I still need to put in quite some work with both girls to actually do what I need them for, but I'm certain that we will get that done in no time.
I think I'll need to get some cool looking shades, an inconspicuous backback and a cool hacker identity name for myself now. I shall be the background operator this group needs!
