Church of the Unfailing Bastion

The modest chapel known as the Church of the Unfailing Bastion is dedicated to Saint Claremont. It is the only church serving the small village of Kalai. At the start of the campaign (1050 CE) it is managed by Pastore Roguelin, Eisley the beadle (caretaker), and a couple of Promessi. An anchorite (religious hermit) named Hygerd has sequestered himself in chambers below ground for the last 25 years. His chambers are literally walled up, with the only access a hagioscope (window) into the sanctuary on the left side.

Alterations

The interior of this building has been furnished as a Pentic church, with the necessary accoutrements for common Adorati on the triangular shaped room that extends below the ground floor and a small private shrine for nobility on the right hand side of the main sanctuary.
