Adam Buchanan

Adam J. Buchanan is a commander for the Neo-American government, stationed at Fort Jefferson near Mono Lake California. He and his infantry division, about 100 men, mostly focus on fighting raiders, capturing tribals to use as slaves, and engaging in irregular warfare from time too time. He is known by his superiors for being a skilled and mindful tactician, being extremely successful in battle.

Adam Buchanan was born in New Washington, DC in 2217, to a higher-ranking field officer in the army. In his youth, Buchanan would be feed the propaganda of the government, and like most, would take it too heart, truly believing that the work he did would help rebuild his people and the country they once inhabited. Buchanan would take after his father, training to become a soldier, in order to fight the enemies of the United States.
During his training, Adam's instructors would see that Buchanan was not only a skilled fighter and marksman, but also a brilliant tactical mind. In 2239, after serving as a low-ranked private for many years, he'd be put in charge of a small squadron of about 24 men, and sent to dispatch a group of nearby hostile tribals. He succeeded, killing every last one without losing a single of his own men. Buchanan would be promoted, continuing too succeed in future engagements.
In 2255, he'd be stationed in Fort Jefferson, to oversee the construction as well as stage military offensives. He is known to be extremely affable, and hard-working, making him extremely well liked by his men.
