The Void

The Void is a strange cave system that extends from beneath the Basalt Peaks all the way to the far edge of the Shara Steppes. Within these massive cave systems, natural laws are distorted or absent. Rivers flow through the air, you suddenly find yourself walking on the ceiling, tunnels seem to make perfect circles and lead nowhere.
Entrances to the Void are all across Tirpitz, but rarely used by anyone. The reasons to go into the Void are either fanatical or desperate. Some plants and animals found within have unique parts that may allow for magic or medicine. Exploration in pursuit of knowledge is the most common reason for someone to traverse into it and even those instances are hard to come by.
The Ialta are native to the edges of the Void and have uniquely adapted to thrive in the strange ecosystems located in the darkness.
