Qathus (Kath-us)
Qathus is the second largest, and southern, of the four kingdoms.
History:
Qathus was the first kingdom to break from Brasia due to the terror caused by their king [king name]. They were the biggest force attemptingto defeat Brasia and their armies enjoyed the fighting. They enjoyed it enough that they started to fight the other kingdoms as well with small raids and things of that nature.
Terrain: Quathus is mostly hills and things of that nature. It is also the home of The Fingers, five large rivers leading to the southern ocean.
The people:
The people of Qathus have a proud fighting spirit and see themselves as the only true rebels from the great war. They have a distain for the eastern and western kingdoms and believe had they only joined Qathus they would have defeated Brasia.
The Royalty:
The royalty of Qathus see themselves as equals with those they govern and tend to go towards a more democratic form of power with each of the major cities having a representative voted on by that city and a King/Queen that is chosen from these representatives by the current King/Queen when they are getting old of age or a major war is apparent.
