Avignon

Kingdom of the Avignch

Avignon is a land of two faces. On one hands, the regions of Avignon are very independent and have their own cultures, on the other is united under the crown. Avignon is diverse in landscape, but all share similar climates. However, the constants of the region are the amount of resources and trade opportunities, along with safe roads, it is a gem of a land for traders. Travellers will enjoy those safe roads, specifically the Royal Valley is an amazing site for all those who travel it's length.
Henry Norwick, Travellers Guide to Evantian, Press of Wien, Wien, 1705.

Geography

Avignon's geography is extremely varied, mountains run along most of it's eastern border, jutting into the landscape between Vardenfell and the Royal Valley, while more mountains cut the southern region into two. Hills dominate the south, while rivers dominate the east and north, all slotted into a region between the Northern Seas, Canaric Ocean and Fordalia Sea.

Fauna & Flora

The plant and animal life of Avignon is also varied, from the cold hills in Brentiny, the sparce hills of Anjon, to the docile Royal Valley and lush Vardenfell waterways, you will find a wide array of creatures and greenery of dangerous, useful or docile nature.

Natural Resources

Avignon is also rich in natural resources, with most of it's lands having some resource in large amounts, with the exception of Anjon. The abundance of resources centres however on the Royal Valley area, where many resources are found together in large quantities.
