The Manticore
Basic Information
Anatomy
Manticores are quadrupeds. They are usually combinations of several animals, forming grotesque and monstrous creatures. They have a strong and sturdy main body, usually a lion's, and also a tail and maybe wings sometimes. Due to their versatile shape and uncommon appearance, it is very difficult to pin down any actual weaknesses.
Genetics and Reproduction
Manticores reproduce sexually. The nature of their limbs depends on the ones of the two manticore parents, but there is a small chance for random mutations.
Growth Rate & Stages
They have four stages which are: infancy characterized by undeveloped limbs and small thin feature to teenagehood with more developed limbs and then adulthood with a fully realized body and finally elderhood reached only by the strongest and resilient of manticores, but their power is truly legendary.
