Tyr

One of the five different elemental applications of Anima, Tyr is the name commonly used to refer to the manipulation of the earth. As with the other elemental applications, this can look vastly different from one individual to the next: where one person might see portents of the future in patterns in the sand or the lustrous facets of gemstones, another might mold the very earth itself, creating art, tool, or weapon out of stone, mineral, plant, or metal. In academic contexts, particular utilizations of Tyr bear particular names to denote their purpose and function. For example, some of the most common include:

• Geomancy, the gleaning of insight and/or reception of visions through using the earth and earthen materials as a focus
• Ferrokinesis, the mystical manipulation of non-living, metallic earthen matter
• Geokinesis, the mystical manipulation of non-living, mineral earthen matter
• Magmakinesis, the mystical manipulation of molten matter such as magma and lava, often utilized by those also proficient in Igní 
• Phytokinesis, the mystical manipulation of living, organic earthen matter
