Manoko
Kalukkenjar is a land in eastern Eveynjar home to the Orient and Amphibanne. A land full of beauty and intrigue, the lands of the Orient are full of mystery. Consisting of two major regions, the Isles of Zuraor and the lands of Manoko. Each was settled by different peoples who knew nothing of the other for a thousand years, but once they met, they united as a whole. Now, recent tears in ideology and belief have torn the regions into a less united land and threaten to cause civil war.
The Lands of Manoko are a fertile plain along the mainland Eveynjar. Originally colonized by the Shacken, their descendants the Kah'luk now possess these lands. Due to their influence with the rest of Eveynjar, this land is often just referred to as the Orient.
Ecosystem
The Lands of Manoko are primarily equatorial deciduous forest that receives plenty of rain annually. Like Kalthinjar, the Lands of Manoko possess a wet and dry season rather than traditional temperate seasons. Due to this lush nature, Manoko is a land that produces a lot of agricultural products, of which rice is an important export.
Fauna & Flora
The Flora and Fauna of Manoko are reminiscent of Western Asia during the Cenozoic Era, as well as an assortment of mythical and elementally attuned specimens. The fauna include prehistoric genera such as Sinomastodon, Gigantopithecus, Indohyus, Hipparion, Andrewsarchus, and Barbaturex; while the mythical fauna include creatures such as Kitsune, Baku, Fenghuang, Yamato-no-Orochi, Kappa, and Qilin to name a few. The Flora of this region include plants such as Firecracker Flowers, Oriental Peaches, Oriental Hickory, Kadam, Rice, Kah'luk Dogwood, and Oriental Persimmon.
Natural Resources
The natural resources of Kah'luk are great, but the most important to the region are agricultural, lumber, and mining. The agricultural resources of Manoko are primarily rice and soybeans, with orchards of peaches being a close second. Lumber also comes in steady supply in this region, coming from trees such as Elms, Gingko, Magnolia, Teak, and Pines, with some Yllitherian Rockwoods also being seen in the north. Mining is an uncommon occurence in Manoko, but where it does happen, there is tremendous wealth to be found. Within Manoko's rock, tremendous veins of elementine, ku'uh crystals, iron, and silver exist, giving Kalukkenjar an edge against would-be invaders from the north and the west.
